Holly StuberCertified Neuromuscular Therapist, Licensed Massage Therapist Pressure: Gentle to Moderate
Holly is a Certified Neuromuscular Therapist (CNMT), educator, and published author. Her areas of expertise are functional biomechanics, geriatric, motor vehicle accident injuries, headaches, and SI joint dysfunction. Her touch is gentle to moderate.
She was introduced to the rehabilitative possibilities of therapeutic massage after a mountain biking accident on Mackinac Island in Michigan. The results of the treatments inspired her and she pursued her career in licensed massage therapy shortly thereafter. She graduated from the Utah College of Massage Therapy in Salt Lake City in 1999 and began studying Neuromuscular Therapy in 2003 after hearing Judith DeLany, founder of NMT American Version, speak at a national massage therapy convention. She has worked for several resorts and therapy clinics, and has also been in private practice.
Since obtaining her Certification in Neuromuscular Therapy in 2006, she has become the staff assistant for the Neuromuscular Therapy training program in Phoenix, and had the pleasure of assisting Judith DeLany with her NMT presentation at the 2008 National AMTA Convention in Phoenix.
While the core focus of her work is NMT, orthopedic massage and biomechanics, Holly has also studied Lymphatic Drainage Therapy, Cranial Sacral Therapy and Energy Medicine. She contracts her services to The Neuromuscular Studio to bring greater avenues of healing to Studio clients, and uses those modalities to facilitate health and healing when medically appropriate. Clients love her caring gentle nature, and extremely informative, thorough treatments.
Holly is a current Arizona State Licensed Massage Therapist, a Certified Neuromuscular Therapist and an active, professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
