Josh CulverLicensed Massage Therapist Pressure: Firm
Josh is a licensed massage therapist, and received his massage therapy education from the Arizona School of Massage Therapy in August of 2004. After graduation he began working for a chiropractor’s office where he practiced his clinical massage skills in order to become a more versatile therapist. In 2005 he joined Dolce Salon and Spa in Chandler in order to learn the spa side of the industry. While at Dolce Chandler, he was quickly given the opportunity to become a leader and grow their massage therapy department. He then became the Spa Director for Dolce Barber and Spa, and eventually Spa Director and Lead Therapist at the Dolce Scottsdale Borgata location, and held that position for five years. He also became Dolce’s Massage Education Director, which he enjoyed thoroughly, ensuring their therapists had access to high-quality education with exceptional instructors.
He left Dolce in 2012 to pursue a career in the mortgage industry, but has continued to be passionate about massage therapy and the many ways it can help people. Missing the client healing experience, he decided to return to the massage therapy profession part-time in 2018. He is contracting his services to The Neuromuscular Studio where he is excited about working with other like-minded professionals in a specialized, therapeutic environment.
His work is Neuromuscular-based, while incorporating sports massage techniques and stretching into his sessions. He has advanced Neuromuscular Therapy training under Judith DeLany and Don Kelley, and provides Neuromuscular Massage and Customized Therapeutic Massage on evenings and Saturdays for the Studio. His clinical knowledge, outgoing personality and caring nature make him a natural part of the Studio team.
He is an Arizona State Licensed Massage Therapist, and is an active professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
