Richard SlusherLicensed Massage Therapist, Certified Medical Massage Practitioner Pressure: Moderate
Richard graduated from Soothing Arts Healing Therapies School of Massage in Florida in 2014, and has been practicing full time ever since. Previously, he was a Certified Personal Trainer through World Instructor Training Schools and completed the Crossfit Level 1 Certification. He and his wife owned and operated a boutique gym until 2017.
In early 2018 an auto accident made practicing massage therapy painful and he sought out training in different massage specialties that would allow him to continue to perform effective work for his clients. His love of manual therapy drove him to train and complete his Medical Massage Practitioner certification in Costa Rica. (If you can train and become Certified anywhere, why not Costa Rica!?!)
Richard continues to focus on reducing pain and increasing performance for his clients. He integrates his training in cupping, myofascial release, sports massage, and IASTM to deliver a varied approach to bodywork to help a variety of pain conditions and improve joint range of motion.
Richard has relocated to the Valley with his wife and three children from Santa Rosa Beach, FL. He and his family are looking forward to exploring all that Arizona has to offer, including assisting clients in their health and wellness goals at The Neuromuscular Studio.
He is a licensed massage therapist in Florida and Arizona, and an active professional member of the Association of Bodywork and Massage Professionals.
